Fetters Named Player of the Week

Senior Point Guard Keegan Fetters was voted the DeKalb Health Fan Choice Player of the Week for his performance in Friday and Saturday nights’ Sectional Semi-Final and Final games. In announcing this award, the Fort Wayne News-Sentinel reported:

After missing Tuesday’s Sectional game, Fetters returned with a vengeance on Friday and Saturday to lead the Panthers to their first ever Sectional title. Fetters scored 25 points with nine steals, eight rebounds and six assists on Friday in a win over Hamilton. On Saturday in the title game win over Blackhawk Christian, Fetters tallied 31 points, eight rebounds, five steals and five assists. In the game, Fetters hit a half court shot at the halftime buzzer to send the game to the break tied and then scored with 3.2 seconds left of a tied game at the end of regulation to give the Panthers the win.
