LP Baseball Falls To Whitko Late

The Panther Baseball team fell in a 3-2 defeat to Whitko on Thursday.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Whitko pitchers struck out eight, while the Panther pitchers struck out eight.
Lakewood evened things up at two in the top of the fourth inning. River West threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for Lakewood Park Christian Panthers Varsity.
Harrison Roberts only threw for one run on one hit over two innings, striking out five and walking one.
Drew Lyons started the game for the Panthers. He allowed two hits and two runs over four innings, striking out three.
Carsten White led Lakewood with two hits on three at bats. The boys didn’t commit a single error in the field.
