JH Girls Sweep Westview

Lakewood’s seventh and eighth grade girls basketball teams both defeated Westview, Monday night. In the seventh grade game, the Panthers won, 41 to 25. Haley Kruse led all scorers with 19 points. Taylor Gerke scored 18, including a three-point basket. Samantha Hartz added four.

In the eighth grade game, the Panthers put up 36 points and held Westview to only 15. Every Panther scored with Chloe Jolloff tallying 20 points to lead all scorers. Maddie Miller put in six, while Mackenzie Shepherd and Chelsea Born added three apiece. Elizabeth Morris and Taylor Gerke each scored two.

The seventh grade Panthers host Cornerstone, Tuesday.
