Varsity Boys Beat PH on Fetters’ Buzzer Beater

The LPCS Varsity Basketball Team defeated Prairie Heights 54-53 on a buzzer beater by Keegan Fetters. Our Panthers led most of the game, but the visiting PH Panthers climbed back into the game and took the lead by 1 with 25 seconds left in the game. Our boys played for the last shot and with 8 seconds left, Fetters drove the lane. He made a layup despite being fouled on the drive, but the referee ruled that he was fouled on the floor before the act of shooting. That put Keegan on the foul line with 5 seconds left to shoot a 1 and 1. Watch what happened below with WANE-TV’s account:
