Softball Wins Home Opener

Lakewood Park Softball Team beat New Haven 5-2 on Tuesday for the first win of the season.
Mackenzie Delancey pitched The Panthers to victory. She allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings. Maddy Lipscomb threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Micah Allen went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Lakewood Park Panthers in hits. This win hopefully will give the girl’s momentum as they play rival Fort Wayne Canterbury on Thursday.
