Panthers Softball Loses Late to Snider

Monday’s game against Fort Wayne Snider was a heartbreaker for Lakewood Park Panthers, as they lost the lead late in an 8-5 defeat. The game was tied at five with Fort Wayne Snider batting in the top of the seventh when L Etzler singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
The Lady Panthers lost despite out-hitting Fort Wayne Snider ten to eight.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Lakewood tied things up at five when Kaylee Zehr doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.
Lakewood Park Panthers notched four runs in the sixth inning. The offensive onslaught by Lakewood Par was led by Cassidy Randol and Zehr, all driving in runs in the inning.

Lakewood Park Panthers racked up ten hits on the day. Lilly Kruse, Mica Allen, and Zehr each racked up multiple hits for Lakewood Park Panthers. Kruse led Lakewood with three hits in four at bats.
