VVB vs. Northrop

The Lakewood girls volleyball team won a thriller at Northrop last night. The Lady Panthers lost the first set 25-14. The Panthers would not give up however. The ladies came back to win the next two sets, 25-20 and 25-21. The fourth set was an intense one. Both teams gave it all they had, but finally the Northrop Bruins won, 31-29. The last and final set was fought down to the wire like the rest of the game. However, the Panthers had more in them as they won the last set 15-13. The Panthers were led in kills by Senior Lilly Kruse who got her season high with 35 kills on 67 attempts. Senior Heidi Johnson also had a Season high with assists with 34.
