Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger Runs Away With Early Lead In Victory
The girls watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 17-7 loss to Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger on Tuesday.
The Lakewood Panthers collected six hits and Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger had 14 in the high-scoring affair.

Lakewood Park scored six runs in the fourth inning. Mackenzie Delancey, Alli Knox, Mackenzie Shepherd, Mica Allen, and Hadyn Faur all drove in runs in the frame.

Maddy Lipscomb started the game for the Panthers. She surrendered eight runs on nine hits over one and one-third innings, striking out one and walking zero. Delancey and Corinne Dager entered the game from the bullpen, throwing three and a third innings and one and one-third innings respectively.
Faur led Lakewood with three hits in four at bats.
