SB vs. New Haven

A walk-off left the Panthers Varsity on the wrong end of a 6-5 defeat to New Haven on Thursday. The Lakewood Park Christian Panthers fell behind by four runs in the third inning, but then tried to fight back. The Panthers scored four runs in the failed comeback on a single by Hadyn Faur in the sixth, a single in the sixth, a single by Millie Linnemeier in the sixth, and a fielder’s choice by Cassidy Randol in the seventh. The Panthers took an early lead in the first inning. An error scored one run for the Panthers Varsity. The Panthers scored three runs in the sixth inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Faur, a single , and a single by Linnemeier. Randol, Faur, and Linnemeier each drove in one run to lead Lakewood Park. The Panthers didn’t commit a single error in the field. Alli Knox had five chances in the field, the most on the team.
