SB Falls on Last Play to Snider

The Panthers Varsity Softball fell to Ft. Wayne Snider 12-11 on Monday on the final play of the game. Despite the loss, Lakewood Park did collect 17 hits in the high-scoring affair. The Panthers softball scored six runs in the third inning. The Panthers Varsity softball scored on a single , a double by Millie Linnemeier, a groundout by Bethany Childers, a double by Alli Knox, and a single by Corinne Dager. Hadyn Faur, Kirsten Arnold, Cassidy Randol, Linnemeier, and Knox each collected multiple hits for Lakewood Park. Faur went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead the Panthers in hits. Lakewood Park was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Knox had the most chances in the field with five.
