Lakewood Park Panthers Clings To Victory Against Woodlan

The girls softball team won both games in a double header on Saturday.
Despite seeing its six-run lead whittled down by the end, Lakewood Park Panthers still held off Woodlan for a 6-4 victory on Saturday. Woodlan scored four runs in the failed comeback.
Woodlan scored three runs in the sixth inning, but Lakewood Park still managed to pull out the victory.
Lakewood Park Panthers got on the board in the first inning. Hadyn Faur drove in two when she doubled.
Mackenzie Delancey led things off in the pitcher’s circle for Lakewood Park Panthers. She allowed one hit and four runs over five innings, striking out two.
Baughman was in the pitcher’s circle for Woodlan. She surrendered six runs on seven hits over six innings, striking out five.
