JH Boys Beat Hamilton

Lakewood Park’s Junior High Boys basketball team opened its season with a 41-7 win at home on Monday against Hamilton. Six different Panthers scored in the game led by Grant Merkel with 11 points. Cobin Moriarity scored 9, Blake Miller had 8 and Sam Kirsch added 7. The Panther scoring was rounded out by Michael Kruse with 4 and Kellen Exford with 2. Miller, Merkel and Logan Williams led an outstanding Panther defense. The Panthers will be back in action next Tuesday as they take on Westview.
