JHGBB vs. Eastside

The Lakewood Park Christian seventh and eighth grade girls basketball teams hosted the Eastside Blazers, Monday. The seventh grade game went to overtime with the Blazers winning, 33-26, out-scoring the Panthers 7-0 in the extra period. Taylor Gerke led all scorers with 21 points. Haley Kruse added three and Samantha Hartz two.

The Blazers won the eighth grade matchup, 39-25, overcoming a 15-14 halftime deficit. Leading all scorers, the Panthers’ Mackenzie Shepherd put in 13, Chloe Jolloff 9, Taylor Gerke 2, and Madison Miller 1.
