JH Soccer vs. Garrett

The Lakewood Park Junior High team hosted Garrett Monday night and came away with a 4-1 Victory.

After giving up early goals the last two games, Lakewood turned the tables and scored 70 seconds into the game when Joel Barkey found Gabe Hallam who found the back of the net. With 20:47 left in the first half Zach Collins scored after receiving a pass from Gabe Hallam. With just under 10 minutes left in the half Gabe Hallam scored again and was assisted by Jared Jewel. A couple minutes later Garrett had a PK opportunity however Landon Roth made the stop and stopped two follow up shots. Kellen Exford added a 4th goal for the Panthers with just seconds left in the half.
In the second half Garrett finally got on the board when Kenan Kennedy put away a PK with 25:16 left in the half. Landon Roth had 4 saves in the first half for the Panthers and Kyle Bland had 2 saves in the second half. The 6-0 Panthers travel to Central Noble Tuesday with a 5:00 kickoff.
