Girls End Season Sectional Runner-Up

Saturday’s Sectional championship game between the Lady Panthers and the Blackhawk Braves came down to the wire. Tied up at 25 all, Blackhawk scored to take the lead 27-25 with 15 seconds left on the clock. The Panthers weren’t able to find the bottom of the net and lost the game 27-25.

It was a great season by the Lady Panthers as they improved heavily from last year, increasing their offensive average from 30.5 points per game (ppg) to 37.6 ppg. They decreased their defensive average from 51.1 ppg to 40.3, and closed the average margin of victory/defeat from -20.6 to -2.7! Great season, ladies!
