Panthers secure double-header

Corinne Dager had all the right stuff on Saturday for Lakewood Park Panthers, allowing zero runs and besting Fort Wayne Wayne by a score of 15-0

Kaylee Zehr led Lakewood Park Panthers to victory by driving in four runs. She went 2-for-3 at the plate. Zehr drove in runs on a single in the fourth and a single in the fourth.

Lakewood Park Panthers notched 11 runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught by Lakewood Park Panthers was led by Zehr, Alli Knox, Lilly Kruse, Maddie Miller, Zehr, and Knox, who each had RBIs in the inning.

A single by A Bradshaw in the first inning was a positive for Fort Wayne Wayne.

Dager led things off on the hill for Lakewood Park Panthers. She surrendered zero runs on four hits over five innings, striking out four and walking zero.

B Fuller led things off on the hill for Fort Wayne Wayne. She allowed 18 hits and 15 runs over five innings, striking out two and walking one.

Lakewood Park Panthers had 18 hits in the game. Mackenzie Shepherd, Bethany Childers, Zehr, Kruse, Knox, and Mica Allen all had multiple hits for Lakewood Park Panthers. Childersand Shepherd all had three hits to lead Lakewood Park Panthers. Lakewood Park Panthersdidn’t commit a single error in the field. Kruse had the most chances in the field with seven.
